Thankfully I'm just doing a pish posh of leftover cooked chicken from the fridge, added in some spices, LOTS of tomatoes, some onions, etc - for chicken tacos later, so the only reason for putting it in the slow cooker was so that the house didn't get hot from the stove and the seasonings would all blend together...but still...UGH! I've been waiting on that thing to at least get warm...for the last 5 hours...JUST noticed it wasn't plugged in.
