New Home!

This summer we begin the journey of moving to our own home that we will be purchasing...this one in Alabama! It hasn't been lived in for a few years, so in need of a little bit of work, but nothing too terrible, then once the work is done it should be fairly low maintenance.  Three bedrooms, 2 baths, large backyard with concrete patio, 2 car garage, 1800 sqft.

Smallish kitchen, but does have a nice pantry and I'll be using the mudroom/laundry room area for extra storage, plus house the freezer in the garage.

Technically the dining room, but I'll be turning it into my glass & craft workroom/office.

Primary bathroom - yes, it really is that blue, including the one piece tub/shower...the wall color will be changed - SOON!

Mother's Day

I had a STUNNING Mother's Day.  The weather was GORGEOUS!  Perfect for our outing to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere.  I also was given a dozen roses, although not specifically for Mother's Day, but just simply because my husband loves me.  I also received some giraffe earrings and a matching necklace, as well as a Giraffe shot glass to go with my collection that I am attempting to rebuild.  So I'm sharing with you some of my favorite pictures from our outing.  

I love my children, my husband, and my life.  The journey to get to this point hasn't always been smooth, but it is absolutely worth it.  ♥
